Operations
The Operations Division is the largest
Division in the Montrose Fire Protection District.
Operations is responsible for fire suppression, emergency
medical and rescue services, and mitigation of disasters or
other emergencies. Also included in this Division is
Training and specialized Rope Rescue, Hazardous Materials,
and Ice Rescue Teams.
In addition to
emergency responses operations personnel provide a wide variety
of services to the citizens of the community they serve.
These services include: business and multi-residential
fire and life safety inspections, tours of fire stations and
apparatus, and fire and life safety programs for schools and
community groups.
